We had an exceptional experience today with a full-day tour led by George. From 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., we visited Meteora, Delphi, and the Thermopylae site, and it was an unforgettable journey. George was outstanding—polite, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. He provided detailed explanations during our travels between sites and was always patiently waiting for us.

To top off our amazing day, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at a Greek restaurant, where we were treated to a true local experience. The meal was incredible, with a variety of plates, meats, and everything you would expect from the best of Greek cuisine, accompanied by wine and beer.

At the end of the trip, we received a thoughtful souvenir from the company, which we really, really appreciate. We are deeply grateful to George for making this day so special. The company also provided a spacious Mercedes van, which we found extremely comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. George’s driving was impeccable, handling everything from highways to winding mountain roads with remarkable skill.

I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a top-notch tour experience, and I especially want to commend George for his exceptional service. Thank you, George! Kudos to you!

WOW! WOW! WOW! What an amazing day! George picked us up at our hotel and gave us the best day of our entire 3 week vacation! He was kind, charismatic, knowledgeable, and truly made this trip absolutely fantastic! We had two kiddos (11&17), two mobility-challenged grandma's, and the two of us. We went from Athens to Meteora to Delphi and back to Athens for dinner. I feel like that itinerary doesn't do justice to all of the wonderful things we saw and did throughout the day. We stopped at so many places to take amazing pictures of the vistas around us! George pointed out things all along the way that we had no idea about. He also gave us a full history of everything we were looking at as well as pointers on where to go and what to do once inside the archaeological sites. This is a long tour, but it felt like the day flew by. It is well worth spending a day of your vacation to book this tour and see what is outside of Athens. BOOK THIS TOUR! Then, contact the tour company after you book this and request George because he is completely amazing!

Just did a Athens half day private tour with our guide, Sebastianos. He was super amazing and patient with our family. He provided us with everything we needed and more (chips, water and umbrella). We enjoyed seeing the ruins especially the acropolis and the agora. He even took us to a special place to see the changing of the guards where it wasn’t chaotic. A highlight of the tour is the lunch in this seafood restaurant. We were served a feast. We requested our guide to bring us to a greek bakery and we bought the tastiest baklavas. Thank you so much for this awesome tour of Athens. Highly recommended.

Great customer service and a super easy transfer from the Athens airport to our hotel near the Acropolis. Pick up was scheduled for 10:00am, but our plane arrived at 7:30am. Our driver was monitoring the flight, and messaged me to let us know he was already there and waiting for us while we were still going through customs! Will definitely use Theodore's Travel the next time we visit Athens.

We did a half day private tour of Athens & it was just fantastic!! Stathis our guide was an excellent storyteller! Our kids (& us) were engaged & educated on Greek history, which is just fascinating!

We loved the flexibility of being able to tour at our own pace & time. Stathis was kind and accommodating. We were provided with water, snacks, and lunch was a huge spread we devoured. We loved the gifts too.

Booked a 1 day customized private tour from Athens to Meteora, thermopylae and Delphi for 4 of us. Over 14 hrs of travel and ended with the included dinner at a local restaurant. our guide Sebastian was fantastic, making us feel quite comfortable. He brought along water, diet coke, and chips.Glad we did not book the 2 day bus tour with 50 other travelers. We just came and went as we saw fit, not bound to a fixed schedule. Highly recommendednif you just want to spend 1 day checking out other parts of Greece.
