Nice spot for some appetizers and cocktails. There was a bachelorette party taking cocktail class, it looked like so much fun.
The atmosphere was off the charts.

Food and service were excellent. Eilidh and Alice were delightful. We had chicken fajitas, Thai curry, and a burger. The banoffee cheesecake was out of this world! I would definitely recommend this centrally located restaurant.

Me and my niece arrived at the social in Glasgow last night, we got in without a problem bouncers were chatting away (lovely lads) and let me tell you we loved every bit of it... one of the managers Hannah I’m sure she said her name was, she was a great help in advising what cocktails to go for as with me being over 50, I didn’t really have a clue. Would recommend the social! GREAT atmosphere, GREAT service!

Dropped by last minute without a reservation and despite being busy their manager, Hannah sorted us a table and made sure we were well looked after all night.

Food was amazing and so were the cocktails, as always! Great atmosphere and too notch service so we decided to stay all night!

Definitely our go-to spot in Glasgow for a fabulous evening.

This restaurant is just a barbecue bar, and it is not expensive, this is a personal discrimination and racial discrimination!!
The waiter told me that I was alone so I was not allowed in, but there was a woman sitting at the door who came alone. I asked why she could come alone, and the waiter told me that I was not allowed to come alone after six o 'clock. When I asked where the rules came from, he started rolling his eyes at me and then ignored me. It's ridiculous！Shame on you！know why this the breath round have so many role and Italy dont know well is route comes from, of will the box and management must be mean people to make these unreasonable rules, many people complained this rule and the dress code rules, you just a cheap restaurant, I have been many fantastic luxury restaurant, never have seen such a ridiculous rule.

Please stop emphasizing your absurd and rude rules to guests. These rules are completely unfounded. Have you seen how many negative reviews you've received because of them? It's ridiculous. Your security says that no one is allowed to dine alone after six o'clock. This rule clearly restricts personal freedom and is a violation of rights. If every restaurant had such an unintelligent rule, claiming it's unsafe for someone to dine alone, does that mean people dining alone have no right to eat in restaurants or walk the streets at night?

I am not here to drink alcohol. I am a working adult. Even if I were to go to a bar alone in the early morning hours, I would not be refused service. What gives you the right to refuse me? You are a bunch of discriminatory people who do not consider human rights. I've seen many complaints about your rules in the reviews. Why are you so harsh? If you truly cared about your customers, you would consider their feelings and why they might be hungry.

I am very curious about the basis for your rules. I asked your security guard, but he couldn't give me an answer and instead rolled his eyes at me. I have never encountered such a stupid rule. This is not only about the rule itself but also about the attitude of your security staff. I simply wanted to know why others can dine alone inside, but I cannot. I strongly suspect racial discrimination, as your security not only refused me entry but also ignored me, rolled his eyes, and impatiently told me to leave.

This was a mixed bag for me.
The atmosphere was great and the cocktails were amazing, so tasty and so much fun (I especially liked the one with the little rubber duck in it)

However, we had looked on the website the night before and had seen the "market menu" which was 2 courses and a cocktail for £20, when I enquired about this I was told it would have needed to be pre booked. There was no mention of having to pre book on the website and all the choices were already on the menu so I didn't understand why. This meant if we got 1 course and 1 cocktail it was more expensive than that deal. We had more drinks which we would have done anyway but we'd have preferred to have more food and a better price point.

I had the burger and chips and I wasn't the biggest fan. The burger came with no sauce or relish or anything so was really dry and the chips were really greasy meaning I left a lot of my dish. I felt £16 for the burger and chips was a bit excessive. My friends had the prawn linguine and said that it could have done with being a bigger portion and more prawns would have been nicer.

We all left hungry which wasn't great for the price.

The staff were very attentive and friendly though so I think next time we will eat elsewhere and just come to The Social for drinks.
