Interesting services with a mock castle feature/building behind. Good selection of different food. Part of the tebay group. Only let down you cannot get a sandwich made from something a bit more ordinary if you do not like all the fancy ones. Small selection of pre made sandwiches where only plain ish one was wafer thin ham the supermarket kind. My sandwich was however very nice if not slightly more expensive than i would have liked.

Decent service station that is well maintained with easy accessible parking and a range of quality produce in the shop. The restrooms are well maintained also. Good place to take a break.

It's like a mini Gloucester Services - IN SCOTLAND!!!

Similar good selection of locally made goodies along with selected items from the other locations. Bit pricey but to be expected. Staff helpful.

This is a great place to stop when you are on the road. Great food, toilets. and plenty of parking.

Owned and run by the same company that has Teebay services and while Teebay is looking tired this was a great place to stop over.

Good selection of food for lunch and a very nice and relaxing eating area.

Prices are high but I guess we have to expect that on motorway services.

Nice farm shop on site too.

Much better than stopping at a fast food place.

Reasonable enough place to stop for a meal break. Clean and well maintained but low on ambience. Owned by Westmorland. Can be pricey but food is ok and they did a deal for main and sweet for £11 which was cheaper than some mains. Vegetarian choices are limited and may have been sitting for a while. Staff friendly enough. Don't park for more than three hours without paying £8 for parking or you will get a hefty penalty fine. A regular place for us to stop, so it can't be that bad!

A lovely looking cafe and very comfortable.
Staff very friendly.
Farm shop very good for cheeses, bread etc although would like to see fish that is not farmed.
The food in the cafe however was underwhelming. We got breakfast and for the price I’d expect bread from the shop with 2 slices of toast and tea in a pot.
The sausages and mushrooms were tasty.
Perhaps a better presentation would help too.
A roll and 2 sausages for £6.75 and a cup of tea for £3.75 is steep so I would the quality made up in other ways. e.g the bead, a tea pot.

Fabulous home bakes, coffee with oat milk at no extra cost (tho quite expensive as coffee goes). Lovely farm shop and lovely setting.
